Family Farm Fest 2003

The 2003 Family Farm Fest featured four open farm sites, which included Fat Rooster Farm, Rough Terrain Farm, Green Acres Milking Shorthorns, and Beebleberry Farm. Over 500 visitors braved threatening weather to join celebrations held at Beebleberry Farm and the other sites. Activities included horsedrawn wagon rides, kids' activities such as scarecrow building and face painting, and an onsite farmers' market.

Thanks to the efforts of partners and volunteers, we were also able to add live music, antique equipment demonstrations, Vermontica the Vermont spokescalf, oxen, a lawn tractor train, blacksmithing and aquaculture demonstrations, and locally grown foods for sale.
